Project: 2 - Step Stool

These stools are inspired by a very old and proven design. The frame is made from solid European Beech, which is ideally suited for this type of application. The steps and seat are made from 19 mm ply wood which is edged with solid Beech and the veneer applied is 0.8mm beach. The use of ply wood ensure stability and extreme strength.

The 3 rails (spacers and pivot) are made from 19mm hand turned Walnut.

The finish used on all models is a Hard wax, which is also used to finish hardwood flooring— this is very durable and hard.
