Welcome to the web pages of Tonyn Pöydät Ja Tuolit. This site will take you through the services I can provide and some of the items and projects I have built.

I have been working with wood for over 35 years, making both furniture and remodelling/refitting houses and shops.

I moved to Finland in 2004 and decided to continue my craft here as a full time business. I currently have one full time apprentice who is learning my craft and have plans to start another apprentice in the near future (applications are welcome).

I like to specialise in furniture from the period 1700 to 1900, but also undertake commissions from other time periods.

Wherever possible we are trying to use locally sourced timber, such as: - Alder, Aspen, Bird Cherry, Ash, Maple, Elm, Lime, Silver Birch, Rowan.

This web site will constantly be expanding, as more information becomes available, and translation allows.
