This Table was designed exclusively for Disgust J lehmusto. The table and chairs were totally hand made in my workshop in Eteläinen and took about 6 weeks to complete. The seat covering was arranged by Sisustustalo J lehmusto. The choice of Colour of the fabric will be changed to meet your requirements.

This table and the matching chairs were all made from European White Oak, which was selected by myself from my timber supplier in Turku. All the oak used in this project was matched and came from the same tree. This means that when the wood naturally changes in colour, becoming a little darker and richer over the years, but more importantly, the chairs and table will change by the same amount, therefore keeping them all in balance.

The Table top was made from 3 pieces of timber and is nearly 40 mm thick, and extremely stable. The methods used to construct this table and chairs are centaury old and have proved themselves throughout history.

The table and each of the chairs were finished using a 14 step process, which included, colour (Fiddes Walnut (NGR) stain), Oak Grain filler, 2 coats of a Hard wax finish (which makes the finish really durable and should not be stained with spills such as red wine), and finally 3 layers of Fiddes supreme wax.

Maintenance on the table and chairs is minimal, just apply a very light/thin coat of the supplied wax (free) and polish/buff off with a cloth or brush, maybe one or twice a year, depending upon use.

I will give a guarantee for my lifetime that the table of chairs (except for the covering) will last, that should there be a failure in the material (from normal use) I will repair it free of charge.
